There are a variety of Voodoo dolls. it is made according to the tribe,  time and the regions of origin. They come in many different sizes and different elements such as clay, wood, rubber, and cloth.

The Voodoo doll is loaded with prayers, Verves, and fire. then there are added elements of the intended victim.  the aim can be to destroy or kill. Veves of the loa is then added to the work and Verves of Doll is marked on the ground with corn meal.  the pins used are not common pins, nor any knitting needle, or others. Voodoo Pins are a set of a series of fused and mixed elements in addition to specific measures, according to who runs the voodoo doll.

The Voodoo doll procedure is an ancient secret and never ever disclosed to any person who did not belong to Voodoo. Voodoo is an Ancestral Religion from Africa that was brought to the Caribbean and the new world by black slaves.  they were then sent to Haiti, Brazil, Cuba and other places and  to be later transferred to Louisiana.  the name can be traced directly to  African people called Majumbes or Araras who lived in the eighteenth and nineteenth century Dahomey. The Vodun was actively suppressed during colonial times. many priest were killed and Voodoo temples destroyed, because of the threat it presented to the Europeans. This forced some of Dahomeans to form Voodoo orders and to create underground societies in order to continue the veneration of their ancestors and the worship of gods and spirits.  Voodoo was suppressed again during the Marxist regime.

However, Voodoo has been freely practised in Benin since a democratic government was installed  in 1989. Voodoo or Vodun was formally recognised as the official religion of Benin in 1996. Voodoo can be found in many large cities in North America, particularly in the American South. as a  religion, Vodun is practised in Benin, Ghana, Haiti, Louisiana and several centres in the U.S. – largely where Haitian refuges have been placed. They spread their tradition from father to son. they meet in secret places to work with prayers and corporation of the Verves (drawings)of  the Loa.  Voodoo Magic is one of the oldest and certainly the most powerful in existence. In the late fifteenth century and early sixteenth centuries with the arrival of African slaves to America,  Voodoo was established as a religion in Haiti.

A voodoo doll is useful in:

– ensuring faithfulness in a relationship,

– used for a complicated bring back a lost lover,

– for protection against voodoo, witchcraft and blackmagic spells,

– break up a relationship,

– find a suitable partner,

– terminate unwanted pregnancies,

– cure bareness,

– spice up sex life,

– win court cases.

the list is endless only limited by the imagination of the voodoo priest.
